“The Divot” is a deceptively spacious comfortable and modern house in Dornoch, which although being in the centre of the Royal Burgh, remains wonderfully peaceful, with a secluded, sheltered garden at the rear. This historic burgh is on the north east coast of Scotland, part way between Inverness and Wick. In golfing parlance, from the house itself it is an easy 3 wood shot to the Royal Dornoch Golf Club. Just beyond the course are award winning sandy beaches together with spectacular views that are teeming with birds and other wildlife. Shops, restaurants, pubs and other facilities, including the Cathedral are also a golf shot away (which club is for you to decide).

Dornoch is a small Highland town which can be your base for an activity or special interest holiday. It is conveniently placed for those visitors who wish to tour the beautiful scenery of the north of Scotland or for those who simply wish a pleasant relaxing break from the hustle of modern life.
We, the proprietors, will do our best to help make your visit enjoyable. We would be happy to advise you on places worthy of a visit and help with any prior arrangements for sporting or other activities available within the area.
